1st Annual Spring Fling Brings Local Vendors to Penn Cental Mall

Megan Haskin of Diva Girl was on hand Saturday to show off her line of purses and bags

The 1st Annual Spring Fling brought out dozens of vendors to Penn Central Mall on Saturday March 26th, 2011.

Kelly Stevens-Comstock, owner of Forever Photography said that the show was going great and that she was very busy.

“More than I expected really, already” said Amber Klum, owner of Girly Things by Amber.

Melissa Hunt, local Pampered Chef independent consultant, was set up with a portion of her proceeds to go to Nicole’s Fund, so that anything that was purchased during the show would go towards helping Nicole and her family with the medical expenses.

Megan Haskin of Diva Girl was also on hand selling her line of purses. She and her family are recent transplants to the Oskaloosa area and her home business is just beginning to gain traction locally.

Here is a partial list of vendors that were on hand: Pampered Chef, Scentsy, Avon, 31 Bags, Mary Kay, Pure Romance, Usbornne Books, Premier Jewelry, B Squared Catering, Silpada Jewelry, Gold Canyon Candles, Tastefully Simple, Tupperware, Life Vantage, Body Double, Tomboy Tools, Norwex, Moments in Time – Scrapbooks by Jenn, Mahaska Health Partnership Med Spa.

It was nice to see the center court of the mall bustling with activity as spring is quickly approaching.
