The Osky boys and girls traveled to Newton on Saturday or the Newton Invitational. The girls finished in 4th place out of 7 teams and were led by Sydney Thompson with a high game of 160 and series of 299.
The boys finished in 2nd place out of 7 teams and fell 43 pins short of winning today. They missed a lot of easy spares that cost them the run today. Tucker DeJong had high game with a 226 and a two-game series of 376. Trey Vanwyk had a 210 game as well. The boys had the high game of the tournament in bakers with a 260 last game that propelled them into the 2nd place finish.
The boys and girls still need to work on their spare game, which we will do in practice.
