William Penn University

(OSKALOOSA, Iowa) — William Penn University will once again be hosting the Global Leadership Summit on August 8 and 9, 2019. As one of over 750 satellite host-sites worldwide, William Penn University is thrilled to be able to invite local businesses and churches as well as alumni, faculty and staff from Penn, to attend this event for a second straight year. It is a great experience for all ages to acquire a vast amount of leadership skills.

The 2019 GLS will be a two-day event with 14 different speakers. These individuals present on a variety of different topics from the values of what makes great leaders, or how you can make your company, school, or church grow and be successful. Speakers such as Bozoma Saint John, Bear Grylls, Dana Strickland, Chris Voss and others. While a lot of companies use this as a way for their employees to do professional development, there are also a lot of individuals who attend, to learn how they can improve personally as well as professionally.

Joe Reagan, Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations stated, “The Global Leadership Summit is a two-day event that focuses on leadership. They believe that everyone has influence, no matter if your influence is in your family, school, work, community or church. The Global Leadership Summit provides a unique blend of vision, inspiration, and skills you can implement into life immediately.”

Leadership is one of the main staples here at William Penn University, and whenever we can host an event in which our University can learn and grow, alongside the local community, it is a great thing for both. We are already taking strides in the right direction to host this enlightening event again next year, and we look forward to seeing how it grows!
