(Oskaloosa, Iowa) – The annual William Penn University Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Thursday, March 29, at 4:00 p.m. on the front lawn of Penn Hall. In years past, the Penn Activity Center (PAC) Staff sponsored the university’s Annual Easter Egg Hunt, it will now shift hands to the University’s Athletic Department as the new proud sponsor. Children of the community are invited to this event and are asked to bring their own Easter basket or bag.

“The WPU Athletic Department is excited to take over this great tradition here at WPU,” said Director of Athletics, Nik Rule. “We invite all children from the community to come out and interact with our student-athletes and university staff in what is sure to be a great time!”

Children will be divided into the following age groups: 2 and under, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–10. Children age 5 and under will have the opportunity to find a golden egg containing a special prize. Special guests will include the Easter Bunny and the William Penn University mascot, Willy P.

In the event of inclement weather, the hunt will be held on the Penn Activity Center (PAC) Turf. For more information, contact Sawyer Woodworth at woodworths@wmpenn.edu or 641-673-1070.
