Oskaloosa–The Lady Statesmen soccer team failed to generate much offense in a 3-0 setback to Waldorf in non-conference action Tuesday.

William Penn (0-2), who was outshot 21-6, gave up the first score at the 24:53 mark, but kept the Warriors (1-1-1) off the board the remainder of the first stanza.

The visiting team recorded an insurance goal in the second minute after halftime and concluded the scoring in the 77th minute.

Six different players tallied one shot each for William Penn, while Amber Klootwyk (So., Knoxville, Knoxville HS) finished with six saves.

Next: The Lady Statesmen travel to Milwaukee, Wis. this weekend to play in the Cardinal Stritch Tournament. William Penn meets Indiana Tech at 5 p.m. Saturday, host Cardinal Stritch at 5 p.m. Sunday, and concludes the weekend against Goshen (Ind.) at 1 p.m. Monday.
