What’s Up Wednesdays continue to be held

The Mahaska County Extension office will be hosting “What’s Up Wednesdays” this spring (March – May); on Wednesdays 11:45 am – 1:15 pm. These informal conversations will be about various topics during the free lunch and learn. Bring your own lunch, have your questions answered, and join the conversation!

What Up Wednesdays will offer a different Iowa State University Extension and Outreach specialist or Mahaska County staff each session and are open to the public. The informal open discussion will pertain to the specialist or staff’s areas of expertise. Attendees would not need to attend the entire hour and half session.

The specialists and staff scheduled for April are: April 3 Joy Rouse, Family Finance (Topics may include Family finance); April 10 Sara Sprouse, Nutrition and Wellness (Topics may include Food Safety, Food preservation & nutrition); April 17 Patrick Wall, Beef (all things beef related); and April 24 Rebecca Vittetoe Agronomist (Topics may include corn and soybean planting progress, weather conditions, and outlooks for 2019). Registration is not be required, but appreciated. Those who RSVP will be directly notified in case of any cancellation.
