WARRIORS RANKED NO. 15 IN PRESEASON NJCAA POLL

2026 NJCAA DI VOLLEYBALL POLL – PRESEASON
Ottumwa, IA – The four-time defending National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Midwest District champions will enter the new year as one of the top teams in the nation. The Indian Hills Volleyball squad checked in at No. 15 in the preseason NJCAA DI Volleyball Poll, announced Monday afternoon.
The Warriors, coming off a 25-10 overall record from a year ago, received 32 points from the preseason voting committee. Indian Hills is the lone team from the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) ranked in the top-20 of the preseason poll.
Indian Hills has captured four consecutive ICCAC regular season and NJCAA Midwest District titles to go along with four consecutive berths at the NJCAA DI Volleyball National Championship. The Warriors finished the 2025 campaign ranked No. 17 in the final NJCAA ratings.
The Warriors’ 2026 schedule features a number of nationally ranked foes: No. 2 Florida SouthWestern State College, No. 3 Northeastern Junior College (CO), No. 5 Trintiy Valley Community College (TX), No. 9 Mineral Area College (MO), No. 12 Blinn College (TX), and No. 18 College of Southern Idaho.
Indian Hills, under the direction of head coach Lyndsey Michel, is set to open up the 2026 campaign August 20 in Council Bluffs, IA with the Reiver Classic.
