U.S. and Jordan Celebrate 75 Years of Diplomatic Relations
Washington, D.C., February 17, 2024 — The United States and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan marked a significant milestone today, celebrating 75 years of diplomatic relations, a journey that began on February 18, 1949, when Wells Stabler was appointed as the first American Chargé d’Affaires ad interim to Jordan.
