Three more Iowa roadways open overnight

AMES, Iowa – Feb. 3, 2011; 5 a.m. update – Nearly all road in Iowa have been reopened from the winter storm that covered a large part of the United States, according to the Iowa Department of Transportation (DOT).

Roads remaining closed

Iowa 83 – Pottawattamie and Cass counties (Walnut to Marne)

Iowa 175 – Grundy and Black Hawk counties (Grundy Center to Reinbeck)

Roads reopened since the last update

U.S. 6 – Pottawattamie County (Council Bluffs to Oakland)

U.S. 52 – Dubuque County (Holy Cross to Luxemburg)

Iowa 44 – Guthrie County (U.S. 169 to Panora)
