The 8th Annual Kidtoberfest Set For Saturday October 11

The 8th Annual Kidtoberfest Youth & Families Event will be held at the Penn Central Mall in Oskaloosa on Saturday, October 11 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Youth and their families are encouraged to attend this free event to learn more about the area services available to them. Over 30 exhibitors will be present with interactive booths. Kidtoberfest is coordinated by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach in Mahaska County. Attendees will want to stop by the iState Fun Zone in the center court to meet the Tooth Fairy & Cy the Cyclone. Stage entertainment from local groups will be presented each hour. Stage shows range from storytelling and Dizzy the Clown to live reptiles and Minute 2 Win It games. Some of the great features of the event include the exhibitor booths, Toddler Zone, Lego League Lab, an inflatable slide, balloons by Tom Terrific, SnoBiz, airbrush tattoos by Whitney, and so much more! Cost to attend this event is free thanks to the generosity and support of sponsors, like Mahaska Health Partnership, Mahaska Drug, Pella Rolscreen Foundation, and Vermeer.
