Supervisors Accept County Engineer Resignation
Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Mahaska County Supervisors met on Monday morning facing a short agenda of work.
Dave Shanahan started as the Mahaska County Engineer in July of 2014. He replaced Jerry Neusbaum, who’s contract hadn’t been extended.
Shanahan had been the county engineer for Cherokee County previous to Mahaska County.
Shanahan’s last day was November 3rd, 2018.
In other action, the board approved the final reading for Ordinance 16. The Tax Increment Financing sets in place diverting money generated from the Prairie Wind Urban Renewal Area to fix county roads.
The next scheduled meeting for the Mahaska County Board of Supervisors would be November 19th at 9 am in the 3rd-floor conference room of the Mahaska County Courthouse.
