Indianola–A small crew represented the William Penn wrestling team Saturday as it competed at the Luther Hill Invitational hosted by Simpson.

With a conference dual right around the corner, the navy and gold put just a few varsity grapplers on the mat.

Tyshon Cannon (Jr., LaGrange, Ga., Psychology) posted the highest level of success Saturday, winning twice (once by major decision) at 141 pounds.

125-pounder Nadhelo Charles-Pierre (Fr., Miramar, Fla., Sports Management), 141-pounder Joe Eads (Fr., Morrison, Ill., Biology), and 165-pounder Jahmahr Hyacinthe (Fr., Pembroke Pines, Fla., Sociology) all pinned one opponent, while Tommy Rios (Jr., Tucson, Ariz., Exercise Science) had his hand raised once as well at 149 pounds.

Next Up: William Penn closes out the pre-holiday portion of its schedule Monday by traveling to Marshall, Mo. to face Missouri Valley in a Heart of America Athletic Conference dual meet at 7 p.m.
