Statesmen Move Up to No. 7 in Postseason Rating

Oskaloosa–The William Penn men’s volleyball team enters the offseason as a highly-ranked program as the NAIA released its top-15 postseason poll Wednesday.

William Penn (19-8) gained three spots from the previous ranking to sit at No. 7 with 63 points. The navy and gold were ranked in all eight polls (including the preseason ranking) this season.

Nine Heart of America Athletic Conference’s schools are in the rating, led by national champion Park at No. 1. Missouri Valley (No. 4), Mount Mercy (No. 5), and No. 13 Grand View are also in the top 15. Additionally, Dordt (No. 16), Ottawa (Kan.) (No. 20), Morningside (No. 21), and Missouri Baptist (No. 22) are in the receiving votes area.

National runner-up Saint Xavier (Ill.) is second, while The Master’s (Calif.) is third to conclude the top five.
