Statesmen 20th Going into National Championships
Oskaloosa–The William Penn women’s golf team will enter nationals at #20 as the NAIA’s final top-25 poll was released Thursday.
The Statesmen received 207 points and are the only representatives from the Midwest Collegiate Conference in the rating.
The top five is unchanged with Northwood (Fla.) still #1 with 498 points and 17 first-place votes. SCAD Savannah (Ga.) is second, while British Columbia (one first-place vote), Oklahoma City, and William Woods (Mo.) round out the top five.
The NAIA National Championships will be held May 12-15 in Pooler, Ga. at Savannah Quarters Country Club. First and second round pairings will be released Friday afternoon.
