St. Mary’s Confirmation Class makes Serenity House Donation
Oskaloosa – Teenagers in Confirmation Class at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Oskaloosa donated a variety of items to the MHP Hospice Serenity House for use by families of hospice patients. The mostly 9th graders chose the Serenity House as one of their community projects. Donated items included movies and activities for the children’s play area, as well as cups, Kleenex, shampoo and other supplies that families may need while staying at the house with their loved one. Organizers said Confirmation is a two-year process of preparation and Confirmation for the group is scheduled April 2.
