Southern Iowa Speedway Set For Season Opener

Oskaloosa, Iowa: The MUSCO Lighting Southern Iowa Speedway located on the Mahaska County Fairgrounds in Oskaloosa is set to wave the first green flag of the 2019 season on Wednesday, April 10th. The Kraig Ford/Pella Motors season opener will feature four classes of race cars on the monster ½ mile dirt track, Midstate Machine Stock Cars, Oskaloosa Quality Rental Sportmods, Parker Tree Service Hobby Stocks and Autocrafters Compacts will all be in action. The season opener will also be student night at the races with all students (school age & college) being admitted absolutely free with a student ID.

The grandstands will open at 5:30 pm with hot laps taking to the track at 7 pm, racing will follow at 7:30 pm. The Southern Iowa Speedway will again feature fan friendly admission pricing, adults will be admitted for only $8, Ages 6-15 will be $3, all military (active & veterans) will be admitted for $5. Under 5 will be admitted FREE.
