Single Vehicle Accident Friday Morning

A single vehicle accident on Friday December 31 at 9:15, left one vehicle damaged.
Jonathan Hand of Maxwell, Iowa was driving East on Highway 163 near the Mahaska and Marion County line when Hand crossed over a bridge. Hand lost control of his 2003 Chevrolet Impala on the icy bridge striking the side of the bridge and then entering the south ditch.
Hand, nor his passengers were injured in the accident and he was not cited. Damages to his vehicle were estimated to be $5,000.
