The Leighton Merchants will be hosting their annual Christmas Lighting Contest Saturday evening, December 12, 2015. The Leighton Lions will sponsor a Freewill donation Soup Supper from 5 to 7:00 p.m. at the Christian Reformed Church. P.E.T. (Personal Energy Transportation) will have Tours and Open House at both manufacturing locations. Also a Live Drive through nativity will be located at the 1st place southeast of Leighton on the blacktop sponsored by Ebenezer Reformed Church. Proceeds from the free will donation will be given to P.E.T. which manufactures hand-powered carts for use in 3rd world countries. Christmas Lighting contest on display all evening.
