Risk and Rewards Exporting Conference Scheduled

Iowa Innovation Gateway, its partners and the Iowa Department of Economic Development are hosting Risk and Rewards, an Exporting Conference November 2, 2012 from 8am-1:30pm at The Michael J. Manatt Community Center in Brooklyn, Iowa. Participants will hear from Michael Flaherty, Canadian Trade Minister and FBI Agents who will address economic espionage and safe guarding proprietary information. They will also hear from businesses who are currently exporting who will share lessons learned.

The conference will be of interest to those who currently export and to those who want to learn more about the world of exporting. Awards for excellence in exporting will be presented during the conference to several Central Iowa companies.
