Oskaloosa–Megan Rhoads (Jr., Schertz, Texas, Psychology) went low for the second week in a row, and for the second week in a row she was rewarded by being named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week Monday.

Rhoads, now a three-time career winner, headlined William Penn’s tournament win at the Olivet Nazarene Intercollegiate. The junior shot a 77 on the first day and then added a 78 in the final round to tie for medalist honors at 155. Unfortunately, she lost in the playoff.

She currently owns a 78.0 stroke average with three rounds in the 70s (low of 76). Rhoads has finished either first or second (excluding playoffs) in her first two events.

The award is WPU’s second of the season.
