Presidential Candidate Michele Bachmann To Visit Oskaloosa Saturday

Michele Bachmann speaks with supporters in Oskaloosa, Iowa

Republican Presidential Candidate and Iowa Straw Poll winner Michele Bachmann will make a stop at Smokey Row in Oskaloosa, Iowa on Saturday, October 29th at 2:30 p.m.

Bachmann was last in Oskaloosa for a Mahaska County Republican Central Committee fund raiser just days ahead of the Iowa Straw Poll.

Mark Doland of the Mahaska County Republican Central Committee commented, “This is Iowa’s chance to meet face to face with the candidates seeking our votes. It is a tremendous honor and responsibility to have the distinguished title of being first in the nation.” Indeed we have a unique opportunity that other states do not enjoy. Pat Scanlon acknowledged, “Iowa has a major impact on the rest of the country. If we do not voice our opinion in the primary, we will risk having a compromise candidate in the general.” With Bachmann’s consistent message that we must not settle for a moderate candidate, folks will have an up close opportunity to meet with Mrs. Bachmann and perhaps ask her a question face to face.

Retail politics at its best will be offered right here in Oskaloosa. All are welcome and there will be no charge.
