Oskaloosa, Iowa – Penn Central Mall is pleased to welcome Label Shopper to the community. The Mall is excited they chose Oskaloosa as their first location in Iowa and west of the Mississippi. Label Shopper plans to open at the end of July, just in time for back-to-school shopping and the Iowa sales tax holiday August 1-2, 2014.

Label Shopper offers the latest fashions and famous labels at the lowest prices. The Oskaloosa store will offer clothing options for men, women, and juniors as well as shoes, accessories and famous label handbags. New merchandise will be arriving weekly, keeping inventory fresh.

“Label Shopper will occupy about 8000 square feet in the East Hall,” said Mike Gipple, interim Mall manager. “Label Shopper is a great addition to our retail market, filling a gap in our clothing market. We expect it will be a regional draw for our community,” said Gipple.

Label Shopper works directly with brand name clothing and accessory manufacturers to purchase over-runs, passing the savings on to customers. Label Shopper is a division of Peter Harris Clothes®, and is based in Albany, NY. “We’ve enjoyed working with the owner and his team,” said Gipple.

“We’re excited about launching our store in Penn Central Mall and think Oskaloosa and Iowa shoppers will love our merchandise and pricing,” said Judy Piurowski, Store Operations Manager. “We’ll be advertising soon in local media to fill the 10-12 jobs the store will create.”
