Patti Craver, 78 of Montezuma passed away Friday morning, April 19, 2019 at her home near Montezuma. Patricia Gail Jordan Craver, the daughter of Clarence and Gladys (Masters) Jordan, was born on December 28, 1940 in Montezuma, Iowa.

Patti was a 1959 graduate of Montezuma High School.

On June 28, 1959, Patti was united in marriage to Artie Craver at the Montezuma United Methodist Church. To this union three children were born, Kimberly Diane, Jordan Dean and Kenneth Eugene.

Patti worked part time at the Bryan Law Office in Montezuma while going to school and after she graduated, she continued to work there until her daughter Kimberly was born. Patti was a wonderful homemaker and also kept the books for her husband, Artie, at A & A Motor Service in Montezuma and then for Artie Auto Sales near Montezuma for several years.

Patti loved her family and truly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, playing games and cards with them. Her favorite card games were bridge and solitaire which she spent many hours playing. She also enjoyed the many Saturday nights she was able to spend with her son, Kenny, shopping and going out to dinner. Patti was an avid reader and loved doing crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles. She was very proud of her yard and spent many hours taking care of her yard, garden and flower garden. She also enjoyed bowling and was on several different bowling teams over the years. She also helped with Cub Scouts where she was a Den Mother and a Cub Scout Leader.

Her legacy will be honored by her husband of nearly 60 years, Artie Craver of Montezuma; her two sons, Jordan (& Brenda) Craver of Newton and Kenneth Craver of Grinnell; two grandsons, Jared Craver and Jason Craver both of Newton; a brother, Allen “Pete” Jordan of Montezuma; and many other relatives and friends.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kimberly Craver; a brother, Robert Jordan; and a sister in infancy, Judith Ann Jordan.

Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at the Holland-Coble Funeral Home in Montezuma.
Burial will be held in the Jackson Township Cemetery in Montezuma.
Visitation will begin after 12:00 pm Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the funeral home with the family present from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ponderosa Fire Works Display or the Montezuma Fire Department.
