Osky News, Truly an Adventure

I have been with Osky News for almost a year now.  When Ken told me that he started a news website I thought that was pretty cool, but I didn’t think there would be enough news from around the Oskaloosa area to actually report much. Boy was I wrong. It seems to be non-stop at times. We’ll be off on a story and get calls for something else going on that needs to be covered on the other end of town or the region, then we’re off to cover that. Whether it’s a public or political events, fires, accidents, trials, or a human interest story the news is always happening.

Osky News is truly an adventure with covering the stories. I am very proud to be a member of the Osky News team. I try to help out when I can by taking photos (and soon video) for the website, Facebook and helping with a little design work. It has been an experience and I really enjoy getting out meeting all of the people and being involved with bringing the news to our community.
