Oskaloosa Winter Open 2018

This February, United Way of Mahaska County, along with 14 local nonprofit partners, will be hosting the 7th Annual Oskaloosa Winter Open. Each hole along the course will be co-hosted by a UWMC partner agency and a business sponsor.

Golfers will be able to step up and putt on the miniature golf course greens in the warmth of Penn Central Mall on February 23rd and 24th. Over the two days, there will be a variety of playing opportunities for both adults and youth golfers.

The Oskaloosa Winter Open kicks off Friday, February 23rd with the Lunch Tournament at noon, where teams of two compete for prizes, followed by a Hy-Vee lunch. From 1:30 to 6 PM, the course will be open to all community members in an open play setting. The first day of the Open will end with an Adult Night (21+ only) from 6 to 8 PM. During this time, the $10 ticket includes Tassel Ridge Wine and NoCoast beer.

The course will open again Saturday morning for open play from 10 AM to 5 PM. At 3 PM and 4 PM, kids aged 6 to 18 will be entered into the Youth Tournament, with prizes for the winners of each age bracket. Open play and youth tournament rounds are all $5.

For more information and ticket pricing, visit UnitedWayMahaska.org/OWO, or search for the Oskaloosa Winter Open event on Facebook. All proceeds from the Oskaloosa Winter Open will benefit the 2018 United Way of Mahaska County partner agencies.
