Oskaloosa Symphony Orchestra Young Performers Concert

Oskaloosa Symphony

This Sunday, the George Daily Auditorium will house the annual Oskaloosa Symphony Orchestra’s Young Performers Concert. The concert usually features two or three outstanding musicians, from the surrounding area, to perform a solo piece that the orchestra will accompany . High School musicians audition in front of Tony Chang, the conductor of the symphony orchestra. Tony then selects the musicians who will be performing with the orchestra. This year, all three of the students who were selected study at Oskaloosa High School. The students selected were: Amber Ringgenberg, playing the violin; Bailie Benson, who is playing tuba; and Lyric Morris, who is being featured on the clarinet.
