Oskaloosa Police Investigating The Death Of William Penn Student

Oskaloosa, Iowa – William Penn University released a statement this morning to Facebook saying:

“It is with a heavy heart that we mourn the loss of one of our William Penn students from an incident that occurred last night off campus. It is known at this time that the other individuals in this incident were not affiliated with the University.

The University is cooperating fully with the Oskaloosa Police Department with their investigation.

William Penn University Counseling Services, Campus Ministry, and Crisis Intervention Services will be on campus today and will be available to students, faculty, and staff.”

No official word as of yet from the Oskaloosa Police Department when additional information will be made available about the situation. The Department of Criminal Investigations have informed other media outlets they are working a death investigation in Oskaloosa.
