There are many activities scheduled to coincide with Homecoming Week.

On Monday students are encouraged to dress as bright as possible for ‘Neon Day’. Later that evening, at the Lacey Complex Stadium, the ladies take to the field for the annual Powder Puff game, starting at 8:00 pm.

Tuesday, students will grab a friend to dress alike on ‘Twin Day’. Also, starting at 7:30 pm, the High School Gym will host the Powder Puff volleyball, as the senior guys battle their way to victory.

Those pants and shirts may feel a bit awkward at first, as Wednesday has students dressing backwards for ‘Backwards Day’. There are no public activities in the evening.

Thursday, students will come dressed for the best on ‘Fancy Day’. Then, at 6:30 pm the Student Council is sponsoring the Homecoming Parade that will make its way through downtown Oskaloosa. After the parade, head off to the old Community Stadium for the Coronation of the King and Queen. The choir will be there, as well as some alumni, as they share their spirit!

Friday is ‘Maroon and White Day’. Yes, you guessed it, all one needs to wear on Friday is Maroon and White. Dress in the colors of the home team for the afternoon pep rally, that will help to send the Indians on to victory over the Winterset Huskies. Game time is 7:30 pm at the Lacey Complex Stadium.
