Oskaloosa Blue Zones ‘Live Longer Better’

On April 14th, the Blue Zones Project will officially kick off in Oskaloosa, Monday, April 14th. Join us that evening, beginning at 5:00 pm, at the Oskaloosa Senior High School Gymnasium to celebrate our community, our well-being, and our future as we work together to become a Blue Zones Community!

The kickoff rally will feature speaker Dan Buettner, best-selling author of “The Blue Zones” and “Thrive.” It will be the first opportunity for residents to see all the activities and opportunities the Blue Zones Project has to offer.

Other features include:

• Free t-shirts, water bottles, drawstring knapsacks, magnets, seed packets and more!
Cooking Demonstration with Chef Michael Glesener
Free food samples
Kids Zone area in JV Gym with Dizzercise, magic show and other children’s activities
Musical performance by the Oskaloosa High School Chamber Choir
