Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Oskaloosa Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person who walked into TruBank on Wednesday, January 31st, 2018. At approximately 3:28 p.m. a male subject entered TruBank located at 302 South Market in Oskaloosa. The male subject presented an envelope to one of the tellers with a note on the envelope asking for money. After presenting the note, the male subject walked out of the bank, without any money, leaving the area on foot.

At no time did the male display a weapon or make any threats towards bank employees.

The male was described as a white male, approximately 6 foot tall with a medium build. The male was wearing a dark colored hoodie with a dark-colored jacket over it The male also wore a yellow brimmed baseball style hat and light colored blue jeans. The male was wearing light-colored, cotton type gloves and was described as having a salt and pepper colored goatee.

The Oskaloosa Police Department is requesting that anyone who can identify the individual or may have information regarding the incident to please contact the Oskaloosa Police Department at 641-672-2557.
