No Impact Man to speak at William Penn University

William Penn University

Author and founder of the No Impact Project, Colin Beavan, will be speaking at William Penn University on Wednesday, November 2 in the Musco Technology Center atrium. In 2006 Beavan left behind his liberal complacency for a vow to make as little environmental impact as possible for one year. He and his family unplugged from the electrical grid, produced no trash, traveled exclusively by foot or bike, and bought nothing but locally grown food for an entire year. The results were greater and more significant than he ever imagined.

He has traveled to William Penn University to share his story and encourage others to reduce their impact by making small changes and better choices. Join us to hear his remarks on Wednesday, November 2 starting at 7:00 p.m. in the Musco Technology Center on the northwest corner of campus. This event is free and open to the public.
