NM Boys Open Postseason July 6
BOONE – Iowa High School Athletic Association released the Class 1A postseason baseball pairings Thursday. North Mahaska will open the postseason on Saturday, July 6 against Melcher-Dallas.
North Mahaska will travel to Twin Cedars to face the Saints at 5 p.m. The winner will play the winner of the 7 p.m. contest between host Twin Cedars and Seymour. North Mahaska is the three seed while Melcher-Dallas is the sixth seed. Twin Cedars is the second seed.
In the top half of the bracket is current No. 5 Lynnville-Sully, who is the top seed. They face Adair Casey-Guthrie Center (ACGC). The winner faces the other two teams, Wayne and Montezuma. Lynnville-Sully hosts that half of the bracket.
The opening night winners will play Tuesday, July 9 in the district semifinal with the district finals set for Saturday, July 13.
