New Sharon Spring Festival
New Sharon, Iowa- The 2011 New Sharon Spring Festival “Welcome to Paradise” days will be wrapping up on Saturday.
On Saturday, they will be having carnival rides, a car show and an art show.
From 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 am, the 3rd Annual “Jace Race” 5K Run/1 Mile Walk will take place at the North Mahaska School (with all proceeds going to the North Mahaska Education Foundation)
1:00 p.m. brings the Annual Spring Festival Parade. At 2 p.m. Programs in the Park will include: A Queen Contest, Honoring our Veterans, Awards, Contests, Trivia Questions and Prizes.
4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. is Adultz “BIG BALL” game at Reed Field.
6:30 p.m. will bring hot air balloon rides at Pro Line South of New Sharon.
8:00 p.m. until 11:30’ish is the Street Dance at Scooter’s Pub & Grub. The band Mangini Brothers will be performing.
