Mourning Dove Habitat Workshop

Mahaska County Conservation Board

Mahaska County Conservation Board is partnering with Mahaska County Pheasants Forever to host an evening workshop for landowners and hunters interested in learning how to manage for mourning dove habitat. The workshop will be held in the conservation center at the Russell Wildlife Area on Tuesday, October 9 at 6:00 PM. Kevin Andersen with the Iowa DNR will talk about management and location of food plots for doves, as well as other options for attracting mourning doves to your property. Supper will be provided by Mahaska County Pheasants Forever. Pre-registration is requested by calling MCCB at (641)673-9327.
