Meet The Statesmen

Oskaloosa–The William Penn University Athletics Department is hosting a Meet The Statesmen Night next Thursday, August 28.

The event, which will be held in the center of Penn Central Mall, will be from 6-8 p.m. Fans of the navy and gold will get a chance to meet coaches and players from the WPU’s eight fall sports—football, volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, and men’s and women’s golf. The cheerleading team will also be in attendance to get fans pumped up!!

A coach from each program will give some insight on their 2014 teams, while fans will also have an opportunity to get autographs and take pictures with their favorite team members. Game tickets and other free door prizes will be given away as well. Posters and team photos will be available for autographing purposes, but fans are also encouraged to bring their own William Penn memorabilia to get signed.

William Penn will host winter and spring Meet The Statesmen events later in the school year.
