Mahaska Young Professionals and Cellar Peanut Pub to Host 1st Annual Oktoberfest
Polka music. Beer. Sausage with sauerkraut. Everything Oskaloosa needs for its very own Oktoberfest. Mahaska Young Professionals is partnering with the Cellar Peanut Pub to host the event on Saturday, October 3rd.
“We’re really excited to be hosting a major event this year,” said Tiffany Korn, event organizer for Mahaska Young Professionals. “The Pub has been amazing to work with, and it’s going to be a lot of fun for everybody.”
The beer garden will have live polka music from 4-7PM and will be hosting several local vendors with lots of fall brews.
“If you’re into Oktoberfest or pumpkin beers, we’re going to have a lot to offer,” said Marty Duffy, owner of the Cellar Peanut Pub.
“It’s a great opportunity to partner with MYP,” added Duffy. “They have lots of cool events to help you meet people in Oskaloosa.”
Mahaska Young Professionals strives to give young professionals opportunities to connect in the community. They host monthly happy hours and social events, as well as charitable and professional opportunities.
Make sure to bring your lederhosen and beer stein because there will be prizes for best costume and stein.
