Mahaska County Soccer Club hosts end of season tournament at Lacey Complex

The end of the season tournament was held for Mahaska county soccer on Saturday October 26th at the Lacey Recreation Complex. Despite the cold, cold winds, forty-four teams competed in sixty eight games throughout the day. “It’s been a great season and we thank the parents, coaches and players for this,” stated Greg Walter, youth soccer President. “We also thank MCRF for the facilities that allow these kind of tournaments. Great way to end the season, even if it was a little chilly!” Greg finished smiling. The girls teams competing in the Des Moines also finished their season on Sunday.
