Mahaska County Sheriffs Office Continues Investigation Into Burglaries

Oskaloosa, Iowa – MAHASKA COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE PRESS RELEASE

DURING THE MONTH OF JULY 2011 SEVERAL BURGLARIES WERE REPORTED TO THE MAHASKA COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE, WITH AN ESTIMATED TOTAL OF OVER $2,200 DOLLARS OF ITEMS BEING STOLEN FROM THESE BURGLARIES.

ON TUESDAY JULY 26TH, 2011 THE SHERIFFS OFFICE WAS DOING AN INVESTIGATION IN THE 2900 BLOCK OF WHITWELL AVENUE. THE SHERIFFS OFFICE RECOVERED SEVERAL ITEMS THAT WERE REPORTED STOLEN IN 3 SEPARATE BURGLARIES. DURING THIS INVESTIGATION THE SHERIFFS OFFICE WENT TO 3 OTHER RESIDENCES AND SEARCHED AND LOCATED SEVERAL MORE ITEMS THAT WERE REPORTED STOLEN FROM THESE BURGLARIES. CHARGES ARE PENDING UPON FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS IN THESE BURGLARIES.
