Lukoseviciute is MWC Performer of the Week

GRINNELL, Iowa – Track and field standout Agne Lukoseviciute ’21 has become accustomed to breaking records at Grinnell College, and on Saturday shattered two more.

Lukoseviciute ’21 from Darien, Ill (Hinsdale South), claimed the 19-competitor hammer throw competition title at the Monmouth College Outdoor Invite with a toss of 178-7, bettering her previous school record by nearly 3 feet en route to being named the Midwest Conference Track and Field Performer of the Week for field events. Additionally, Lukoseviciute broke the Lithuanian national record of 177-7 held since 2007 by Vaida Keleciute.

Lukoseviciute is currently ranked fourth in NCAA Division III. Lukoseviciute also placed third in the discus with a toss of 133-11.
