Local Girls Scout Troop donates to MHP Birthing Center

Oskaloosa Girl Scout Troop 979 members

Oskaloosa – Girl Scout Troop 979 members made special baskets with personal care items for mothers who deliver the first baby of the month at Mahaska Health Partnership. According to troop leader Becky Sidebottom, the girls all love babies and decided to have their community service benefit them and their mothers. Each girl earned a Community Service Badge and a Caring and Sharing Try-It for their donations.
