Osky News

Oskaloosa, Iowa – During the month of March, the FACE organization’s artwork will be on display at the William Penn University Wilcox Library Foyer Gallery. See some of the talent we have in our community. FACE stands for the Fine Arts and Cultural Events of Mahaska County Organization. The mission of FACE is to foster the arts as a catalyst to strengthen our community.

FACE would like to invite artists, supporters of the arts, friends and family to a reception honoring the members that have art on display for March. Members are: Briana Bartlett, Kelsey Derby, Phil Hebert, Sue Lynn, Juana Plum, Jane Ryder, Orla Stodghill, Julie VerSteegh, and Sue Van Wyk. The reception will be on March 30, 2012 beginning at 6:00 p.m.

This is also the kick off to their very first membership drive. They are looking for artists, musicians, thespians, and art appreciators that would like to help them further the cause. Check out Facebook for more information on future events and how to get involved or contact Sue Van Wyk at 641-672-2690 or by email at vanwyks@wmpenn.edu.
