Life Sentence for Unionville, Missouri Methamphetamine Dealer
DES MOINES, IA – On January 28, 2011, Dale Wayne Aldridge, age 46, of Unionville, Missouri, was sentenced to life imprisonment for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, announced United States Attorney Nicholas A. Klinefeldt. The Honorable United States District Court Judge James E. Gritzner also ordered Aldridge to serve 10 years of supervised release if released from prison, and to pay a special assessment of $100 payable to the Crime Victim Fund.
Aldridge was convicted by jury trial in October 2010. The evidence at trial indicated that from approximately November 2009 to June 2010, Aldridge obtained approximately 12 pounds of methamphetamine which was then distributed by himself and others in Northern Missouri and Southern Iowa.
This case was prosecuted in the United States Attorney’s office for the Southern District of Iowa, and was investigated by the Drug Enforcement Administration–Des Moines Resident Office, South Central Iowa Drug Task Force, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Missouri Department of Corrections Probation/Parole, Centerville Police Department, Appanoose County Sheriff’s Office, and Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
