Letter To The Editor: Opportunity To Vote For A New County Supervisor

Editors Note: The views and opinions expressed in this editorial are not necessarily the views or opinions of Oskaloosa News.

On June 7th, we as residents of Mahaska County have the opportunity to vote for a new County Supervisor. As voters we should be focused on selecting a candidate that can provide progress while maintaining tradition. Crystal Jimenez-Boender is a life-long resident of Mahaska County. She is a local business owner in Mahaska County, has extensive financial experience, and wants to see Mahaska County thrive and grow economically.

Crystal is a rural resident and understands the need to work for a better road plan and will make road funding a priority. Crystal’s years of experience as a bank auditor more than qualifies her to keep a watchful eye on County spending and cut wasteful spending.

I believe that Crystal will manage our tax dollars wisely and supervise our county departments effectively. Please join me in voting for Crystal Jimenez-Boender on June 7th.
