Teachers and students deserve school environments that are safe, supportive, and conducive to teaching and learning. When we think about Carl Drost, we think about a man who is passionate about making sure that this holds true for all teachers and students in Oskaloosa. Carl has already proven that he is passionate about this. Carl has dedicated 20 years of his life to helping the Oskaloosa Community School District by serving on the school board. We know that Carl cares and his actions prove that. When our family was personally experiencing the negative effects that disruptive and unpredictable behavior can have on students, Carl came to our home to discuss the situation and to see what could be done in order to work on a solution to the problem. If we want students to ‘Embrace the Power of Learning’, we must ensure that they are provided the adequate environment in which to do so. Carl is committed to this.

We live in a community where we have wonderful facilities and fantastic teachers. Teachers who invest in our kids and give their all to help them succeed…Student achievement and discipline go hand in hand. Carl has proven that he isn’t afraid to ask the hard questions and do ‘Whatever it Takes’ to ensure that Oskaloosa Community Schools are headed in the right direction.

Carl Drost believes in Oskaloosa and having a quality school system is a valuable asset to our community. He proves this with his dedication to serve on countless community boards and gives his time and talent to complete projects that benefit our community. He understands that ‘All means All’ and he is always willing to jump in and get the job done. He takes pride in Oskaloosa and helps build a community that was ‘Created with Pride.’

Our kids are our future. Join us in supporting Carl Drost for the Oskaloosa School Board on September 12. Carl has a passion to improve the education of ALL of our students.

Sincerely,

Rob and Stacey Scott
