Jessica Jones Performs at Best of Center Showcase

Jessica Jones Best of Center Recital

On Wednesday May 14th, Jessica Jones, a senior at Eddyville Blakesburg Fremont had the great honor of performing at the Iowa High School Music Association Best of Center Showcase Recital at Iowa State University. Jessica has won this prestigious award 3 times in her high school music career. A student must earn a perfect score from the judge at State Solo and Ensemble Contest and then be nominated by the judge in that center to win the award. Jessy has won many honors in band at EBFHS including numerous solo awards in jazz band, marching band, and solo contest. She has earned straight division I rating all four years on piccolo and flute. Jessica has performed in the SEIBA Honor Band, Drake Honor Band, and the Iowa State Honor Band this year as well as being named 1st alternate for the Iowa All State Band.
