Indians Win At Home Bowling Opener

Oskaloosa, Iowa – The Indians found success on Saturday, as they hosted Pella Christian and Centerville.

The Oskaloosa Girls racked up a total of 2278 pins, while Pella Christian came in with 1731, while Centerville had 1660.

Four of the Oskaloosa girls had high series, with Nikki Parlet rolling a 426 series. Andrea Mitterer had a 323, with Taylor Mathes a 279.

Parlet also had the two high games of the day, bowling a 226 and a 200. Mitterer had a 178 high game.

The boys ended their day with 2969 total pins, while Pella Christian had 1801, and Centerville just four pins behind at 1797.

Oskaloosa’s Jared Smith had the high series with a 474, as Oskaloosa claimed the top five spots for high series.

Austin Czerwinski had a 437 high series, while Colton Stout had a 370.

Jared Smith bowled the high game with a 278, and Austin Czerwinski bowled a 237.

The Indians will next travel to Norwalk on Saturday.
