IHCC To Host NOW Conference
Indian Hills
The conference is a collaborative effort of three organizations that are active in promoting leadership in this area: ActionCOACH Heartland, Indian Hills Community College, and the Ottumwa Leadership Academy. The goal of the organizational committee is to increase the number of people in the region who are actively engaged in promoting and practicing positive leadership qualities.
The day will feature three different leadership tracks, one for those who are Stepping into Leadership, another for Executive Leaders, and Special Interest Topics that will appeal to leaders at all levels. It’s designed to have something for everyone no matter their experience level.
In addition to multiple breakout sessions, the event will feature two keynote speakers. Dr. Celina Peerman will open the conference with her presentation Leading Forward: Our #whatcanIdoforyoupromise. The closing keynote this year will be given by Melissa Delay, who will speak about Communication Mistakes Every Leader Makes and How to Never Make Them Again.

The registration fee for the conference is $79, which includes a light breakfast and lunch. Anyone who is a graduate or current member of a leadership program offered by one of the sponsoring organizations may register for the conference at the alumni rate of $69. The student rate for the conference this year is $39 and is available to any current high school, Indian Hills, or Job Corps student.
