IHCC To Host Fall Concert
OTTUMWA — The Indian Hills Community College choral music department will be presenting its fall concert, “The Beast Concert Ever,” on Sunday, Oct. 28, at 3:00 p.m. in St. John Auditorium on the IHCC Ottumwa campus.
The concert will feature the Indian Hills Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Tono Bella, and men’s and women’s choirs in a family-friendly, hour-long show around the theme of “animals.” Forty-five IHCC students are expected to take part.
Songs that will be performed include “The Lion Sleeps Tonight,” “Skylark,” Eric Whitacre’s “Animal Crackers,” and “Glow Worm.” The students who will be singing come from all over southeast Iowa, and from as far away as Cameroon and the Caribbean islands of Aruba and Curacao.
There is free admission for the afternoon of entertaining music and the public is invited to attend.
