Dennis Warner & The D’s will be performing at Indian Hills Community College in St John Auditorium on Thursday, September 19 at 7:30 p.m. This is a free performance but you may reserve your seats at: https://www.indianhills.edu/arts/theatre.php

A globally accomplished folk music singer-songwriter, Dennis Warner’s music is filled with imagery and storytelling. Warner will perform vocals with guitar and will be joined on stage with The D’s made up of Dan Neale, on guitar and vocals, and DK Kennedy on percussion. Warner’s 11 albums and live concerts blend serious, thought-provoking songs with lighter, more up-temp material. His most recent album Pilot Me has been featured on FolkDJ radio charts in the top 10 albums. Warner is noted for being an entertainer on stage, bringing the audience into the performance with laughter and even a couple of sing-alongs.

Warner says “It’s not enough to just show up and sing a few songs. I’m an entertainer at heart. My concert is more than the music. I want it to be fun and hopefully a bit thought provoking, too. It’s also the conversation, the stories and the connection.”

Hailing from Minnesota, Dennis Warner and The D’s has performed in all 50 states, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. and toured South Africa with the Beads on One String concerts. Warner authored the children’s book Beads on One String which is being used in music curriculum throughout the US and numerous other countries. Along with being featured on PBS Backroads, Warner was featured at the Round Glass Music Awards in NYC celebrating musicians from around the globe who create music to make the world a better place.
