IHCC To Host Annual Borlaug Fall Seminar

OTTUMWA — The Indian Hills Community College Science Club and the college’s Arts and Sciences Department will present the annual Borlaug Fall Seminar on Wednesday, Oct. 17, at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s seminar, Wind Energy 101, will be presented by Mathew L. Wymore, a graduate research assistant and instructor in the department of electrical and computer engineering at Iowa State University. Wymore, a Ph.D. candidate and Oskaloosa native, is studying wind energy science, engineering and policy with a co-major in computer engineering. He has undergraduate degrees in computer engineering and performing arts, also from ISU.

The seminar will be held in Room 5 in the Rural Health Education Center on the IHCC Ottumwa campus. It is free and open to the public.
